Thurman grew-up (in Michigan) devoting a large amount of his time practicing, competing, rehearsing and performing - as a swimmer (butterfly- stroke) 6 years with 2 seasonal teams, as the drummer in a band with his guitar playing twin-brother, and acting on stage in school and dinner theater.  Thurman considers himself an "active" kind of guy- golfing, bowling, boating/sailing, swimming, and fishing.    

Sixth year student in Advanced 'Method-Acting' at (actor, director, writer) Carey Scott's Rehearsal Room, Improv Training in "The Groundlings" School, On-Camera techniques at Actors for Reel, and numerous commercial, narration, voice-over, and cold reading workshops and classes.
