Thurman considers himself an "outdoors" kind of guy- golfing, boating/sailing, swimming, and fishing. He grew-up (in Michigan) devoting a large amount of his time practicing & competing - as a swimmer (best at the butterfly stroke) with 2 seasonal teams, and performing- as the drummer in a band he started with his twin-brother (on guitar). These experiences- competing and performing- have always been his "rush" in life that keep him young at heart and happy. Thurman made a clear-cut promise to his wife & family... putting his theatre life on hold, get a "paying" job to better raise their children, and finish college (in that order). Mission accomplished. He now devotes full-time to his acting career, appearing on TV, stage and film. Training continues- currently in his 6th year in Advanced 'Method-Acting' at (actor, director, writer) Carey Scott's Rehearsal Room, Improv Training in "The Groundlings" School, and On-Camera techniques at Actors for Reel. Thurman's most memorable
work/credits: 'Dave the Limo Driver' in the movie Amber Sunrise,
"Rick" in the play Christmas in Pakistan, and in his 30th year
as a "husband" and 29th year as "Dad." |
